Every year Jewish families made there way to Jerusalem to celebrate the Passover. Mary and Joseph had taken Jesus to Jerusalem to celebrate the Passover, but as they were journeying back from Jerusalem to their home in Nazareth, they noticed that Jesus was not with them. They returned to Jerusalem and found Jesus teaching in the Temple. This window shows Jesus as he taught the elders of the temple, when his Mother Mary, asked him what he was doing, Jesus replied, “Wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business” (King James Version Luke 2: 49).
